The 'Check' led is on?

I've a 4 cylinder Honda Accord 2002 LX,it was a heavy snow and I had problem taking the car out of the snow and also, on the way, there was plenty of snow under the car which was touching the underneath of the auto.At the night when coming back home, I saw that the 'Check' led is on (the malfunction led) and also I feel like there's a little problem in the brakes, when I apply half-brake on a reduced speed, after 2 or 3 seconds, it applys a stronger brake for a moment and then becomes back to normal.Where is the dilemma from? is it for the reason that of snow? What are the probable damages?Any ideas? Thank you

H.I.D., Xenon, trying to upgrade, don't know anything about them?

I only bought a 2008 honda civic Si and I was wanting to upgrade the headlights. I really adore the way the "blue" headlights look on the Lexus' BMW's Mercedes etc. I do not know what I should do to upgrade to that look though. I see bulbs at stores like autozone bud I do not know if it is only a tinted glass bulb or if they're actually xenon gas or what. I have seen "blue Lights" on cars however it is not actually the bright Xenon lights cuz they actually look blue even up close, which true Xenon will not do. So is my just option an upgrade to a totally new headlight assembly? Also is there a difference betweed HID and Xenon? Thanks

Difficulty in first gear

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I am having a number of difficulties with my 91 civic hatchback and was hoping to seek a number of advice from the forum.
Ok here is the dilemma.
When I start driving on the first gear from standstill, I notice that the car is severely underpowered. I need to step on the gas most and slowly release the clutch. Otherwise, the engine will either die or the entire car will vibrate violently.
Do you believe it's for the reason that of the timing belt not attached properly? Or is it the spark plugs?
Thank you for any advice you are able to provide.
