How good are the 2003 Honda Civic si's?I am thinking of getting a si Civic for around $11,000 and has around 60k miles on it. Are these cars any great? I like where the shifter is located and the looks of the auto. So I am only wondering are these great cars and and difficulties i ought to know aout with this model? This black thing just fell off the front of my 2003 Honda Civic.?Well I came out from this lady's house today & noticed that the black thing on the bottom of the front of my car was half way off, I do not know what it's so I drove home anyways, then when I got home it was three-fourths of the way off. I needed to run an errand & by the time I got back it was all the way off & I do not know where it's. Does anybody know what it was & how important it's to have on there & if it's ok to drive my car around? My little brother keeps telling me that my car will definitely fall apart with no it's this true?It is a 2003 Honda civic LX 4 door.It was not the bumper it was a plastic thing underneath the bumper.Read more on this topic is it necessary to certify Honda Civic 2003 EX (owned by 1 owner) currently have 65k miles.?And what benefits will I've if I choose to certify it?I have been told by the previous owner that it would cost $400 to certify it.Today when I met the original owner she told me that I'm able to get it certified by taking it to a Honda dealer for $595. I took it to a workshop (non Honda) for comprehensive trialing and found out that theres no mechanical defect at all - just things related to regular maintenance could be completed for better performance. By looking at it anybody can see that it is well taken care of...I have not talked to the dealer yet about certification - it is something she did through the individual she knew... Immediately that it is 4 years and 65k miles will it be helpful to carry out certification that'll last till 7 years/ 100k miles?Read more on this topic
