A 2007 Ford Focus Hatchback SE or a 2008 Honda Civic LX Sedan?I am a first time buyer of an car and I do not have a credit history. There's an offer for me to finance a 2007 Ford Focus Hatchback SE with a Down Payment of $1500 and monthly payment of $300 for 5yrs. While the other dealer offers 2008 Honda Civic LX with a down payment of $2200 and a monthly payment of $400 for 5yrs.Which car is greatest to finance for an individual like me who is beginning a career here in florida? What is more practical to purchase?Read more on this topic Where is the 2008 Honda Civic produced?Well I have been looking for a tiny car to purchase and I have pretty much narrowed it down to the '08 Honda Civic and the '08 VW Rabbit. I'm aware of VW recent reliability ratings being low and was only wondering where the '08 Civic was built for the reason that I recall something about Honda switching over it is production site to China (which to me most likely is not the greatest choice if they desire to keep up their reliability). I have also been studying many reviews at yahoo! autos of the '07 Civic (which would provide be an improved understanding of what to expect for the reason that they're older and with more miles which would gain the ability to predict the future of the auto's reliability). And to my surprise, being that I own a '05 Accord 4 cyl. EX that has had zero difficulties up to date with 34,xxx miles on it, the Civic allegedly has had many reliability issues, and that is where the question comes in. Where was the Civic built? Any insight by 8th gen. Civic owners on fuel economy, reliability, or ownership is welcome.p.s. During the buy, I needed to sign a disclaimer stating that tire chains were not recommended, and would void the warranty, etc. I do many traveling up near Truckee, and obviously need chains or something. Can 'cable' type tire chains be utilized safely? Does this sound similar to a steal of a deal? I think it is a pretty great offer if you ask me.Well think about that the total cost includes the 8% APR. That's one thing I thought was BS...I know I'm able to do superior than 8% with a 741 Credit Score.I finished up with a 60 month deal, $5000 down, $295/month.
