93 civic helpI've a question and i'd like any feedback,My wife bought a 93 Honda civic .this car was a lemon.To create a long story short we had to purchase a new engine for the auto..all was fine until yesterday, the engine we bought was nearly new and rebuilt,It's a 94 engine i think it is a VTEC, My wife was driving the car yesterday and it only cut off on her while she was driving,Then it cut off at a red light so she drove it home and shut if off,I came out side to see what wrong and when i turned the key it began then cut off seconds later..then i tried to begin it again and it turned on with no trouble..i went with her to see what she meant and as quickly as we began driving on a main road it cut off again so while we were coasting she put in in neutral and began it up again and it turned..we got back home and shut it down..again i tried to begin it and it began for several sec then cut off..i looked under the hood and took off her cold air intake to see if it has anything to carry out with that however i cleaned the filter and it's still happening.I'm confused for the reason that it is a rebuild engine..could it be something easy?Read more on this topic 1993 honda civic ex?my car wont start , theres no sparks my fuel pump doesnt hummm when i turn the solution to the II position ... i notice i dont hear the 3 clicks either... just 1 press thats coming from the passenger side .... and my check engine light comes on and doesnt disappear after 2 seconds.... however somebody told me to check the main ground on thermostat housing....ok my question is where is this? i know it is under the hood however i desire to learn .. thanksRead more on this topic I have a 1993 Honda civic cx. the car will not stay Idling correctly, whether it's cold or warmed...I do not know why however each immediately and then my car will not start. It runs good however it has these moments when it will not start. This mainly happens at the gas station, everytime I finish putting gas into it I need to wait 5-8 minutes for it to begin. Or if I do not drive it for one day or 2 and/or let it sit too long it takes about 30 minutes to gain it began. What maybe the dilemma?Read more on this topic
