Why is the horn on my 1996 Honda Civic going off every couple of seconds as I drive?one of these days it's gonna honk at the wrong person...Anybody understand how I'm able to only disable it.(it is not like I in fact use it or anything...)I actually pulled the fuse for the horn, however it was labeled as Horn, Stop. The result was the horn was disabled, as was the brake light in the rear window and, oddly enough, the tallent and capability to shift into drive once the engine was running.Read more on this topic Honda civic 1996 Sweet smell after car turned off?I've a 1996 Honda civic. For the past 2 days I smell a sweetish (slightly pungent) smell as quickly as I park the car turn it off and receive out (it goes away after a minute or so). I traced the smell to the point that it is coming thru the radiator fins. Checked oil, coolant, ATF and dont seem to see any troubles and their levels are fine too. Also no obvious signs of leaking coolant or white smoke coming out of exhaust. Would appreciate if anybody could provide a hint as to what is causing this smell ? BTW I'm able to just smell it if I get out of my car after I turn it off and I haven't ever noticed the smell inside the auto....so theres no smell inside even the possibility of I turn heater or ac on (both working fine also I checked). Also the weather has turned a bit cold the past few days so dunno if that is 1 of the reasons for this?!?!Read more on this topic Have a Honda Civic DX '96. Should the AC fan turn on immediately when I turn the AC on?I'm able to see the cooling fan turn on if I turn on the AC after a brief drive however the AC fan behind the condensor doesn't turn on. I'm getting cold air from the AC and dont notice another thing amiss. Also when the engine idles amongst AC running, I'm able to hear a press immediately and then after which the engine's rpm changes a bit (either goes up or down). Is this press the sound of a number of relay? Can this relay be bad? Also is there any other switch etc. which drives the AC fan which can go bad?
