Honda Civic 1997 v tec?i've got a honda civic 1997 v tec... the tyres have been changed into 17" alloys... b4 i think it had 14" tyres.. immediately after the new alloys.. whenever i go on top of a tiny hole in the road. it feels like the only hit sumwhere hard..u will gain the ability to feel even a tiny gutter ........anybody know y?? or is it coz of the alloys...?? suspension?Read more on this topic 1997 Honda Civic problems??I've a 1997 Honda Civic 1.5i. Usually a wonderful and reliable auto.Had severeal difficulties with it in under the a year ago though. (it was my fathers who passed away and stood for abit a year ago, until I passed my trial and took it on, could not bear to part with it). It has had several parts replaced: battery, oxygent filter thinggys (do not ask me, do not know the technical side of cars being a female!) and lately it doesnt seem to be as nippy, you know; does not seem as quick.. and getting up hills is like driving a tractor! However yet not a thing has been picked up on nay tests it's had. Any mechanics out there or anybody with great car expertise to know what may be up with her? (yes, shes a she!).Can bear to part with her... as she has large sentimental values...Read more on this topic problems with honda civic 97 dx?my car will not start after it runs for a while. with the aim to start i need to either take the injectors out and place them back. Or let the engine cool down. after that's ok. there was also coolant all around the engine however the radiator was full. it never overheadet except one time however it was not serious.also there was intense gasoline smell. any suggestions would assist.Read more on this topic
