2000 Honda Prelude ABS Light comes and goes! Advice, opinions?

Serious mature answers please! Recently my girlfriend was driving my car and she mentioned that the ABS light came on while we were headed to a movie! Well I noticed that it has been coming and going! Does anybody think that maybe the brakes are getting worn too far and this is only an idicator? I'd like to obtain a few opinions prior to going to honda and spending the cash. Thanks

Does abs work while not braking IE hard accelerate wheelspin?

In a Honda civic 92 EG/EH ABS D16z6course my abs is faulty atm so i cant test it, however was wondering as in the guide it sais it goes by detecting difference in individuel wheelspeed and releasing presure to the caliper. OK so i only answered my own question but even now, does it still operate when you wheelspin as in does the selenoid still open up releasing any presure to the caliper when you wheelspin.

Help on faulty ABS sensor and Error Code?

I bought the car with ABS faulty code. Honda service history has a note saying Left rear ABS sensor faulty needs replacement. Upon trouble shooting abs fault code it is 1.3 = ABS motor relay/ circuit problem. I did a flow chart (a number of honda guide found on the internet) to diagnose this and they ask me to take out my ABS motor relay (tested OK) and jumper 2 wires. It then asks if my pump motor runs however then it doesn't, so the flowchart continues and all the things checks out OK ending on check any loose control unit connections which i did, no luck. How would i know if the Pump motor is running? and does the ignition need to be on or does the car even need to be began? Ps i've hayes and on the internet pdf guide so easy stuff i know like resettting trouble codes checking them ect...immediately the faulty Sensor diagnosed by HONDA.Making use of my digital multimeter I compared the resistance on the 2 back sensors aswell as with a spare sensor bought from ebay. And the left rear one indicates 5.x (x counts up or down) the others shows 0.84. So it does look like it is faulty however i played on...unplugged the 2 rear sensors and cheking the volt :+ on sensor wire and - on common ground (auto metal spot)and then turning the wheels....strange i got no voltage at all stays on 0.000. on both rear sensors... Did no different with my spare sensor while holding it near the pulser ring and turning the wheel(hub actually) ... i got between .4 and .9 studying. so I thought doulbe check it with one of the front sensors...connecetd it up and turned the wheel....0 voltage.I dont know whats going on...acording to the resistance studying the left rear sensor shows different studying from all the other people. However from voltage point. just the spare one gives me a studying, non from car does. ???Im doing major suspension replacement on the car so it cant move...I've wired the spare sensor up with no installing it and checked to see if fault code goes away after clearing it, and it doesn't. Do i should get all 4 wheels turning prior to abs control unit lastly clears fault and turn light off?

How do you turn off the abs warning light on a 94 honda accord?

My girlfriends 94 accord has had this yellow abs ligh on immediately for nearly three years. We know the abs isn't functioning, we do not need to be consistantly reminded. Is there a technique to disable the light? I recall studying somewhere about a fuse you may well pull or something along those lines.****FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW, EVEN WITH NO ABS THE BRAKES STILL WORK AS THEY OUGHT TO. THEY ONLY DON"T HAVE ABS. IT ISN'T DANGEROUS----PLEASE THINK PRIOR TO YOU ANSWER****
