91 Honda Accord engine running very loud?

Hi! My 91 Honda Accord's engine has been very loud the past few weeks. The faster I go the louder it gets. It's definitely not normal. Could it be the transmission? Any advice? Thank you!The noise is similar to a loud humming....like it's working harder than normal. It's got about 130,000 miles, is well maintained, and the pitch doesn't change. Depending ont he speed it is certain to get louder or softer.

91 Honda Accord EX engine stumbles on acceleration?

I've changed spark plugs, fuel pump, pressure regulator, distributor cap, rotor wires, timing belt with timing checked, egr, pcv, Injectors , had transmission checked out it's great, could this be the ECU? and if so where can I get one cheap? not a racer or any of that, only a guy trying to make it to work and back. engine runs great at Idle and low speeds after 50 is when it happens, usually. any assist would be greatly apreciated.More info. when excelirating at around 40-50 there's a noticeable stumble, I had the transmision fully serviced one month ago and watched them do it.another problem has surfaced immediately, the drivers side seatbelt (shoulder) alarm is sounding and sometime works.what sounds similar to a cylanoid clicking noise is coming from the plenum.More info. when excelirating at around 40-50 there's a noticeable stumble, I had the transmision fully serviced one month ago and watched them do it.another problem has surfaced immediately, the drivers side seatbelt (shoulder) alarm is sounding and sometime works.what sounds similar to a cylanoid clicking noise is coming from the plenum.

93 Honda Accord Engine misfiring?

I have been having a dilemma that has been very difficult to diagnose, for the reason that it is so random, it happens on the road, however never in my garage when I attempt to fix it. It never triggers the check engine light. It seems to be that each immediately and then the engine will cut out for a split second. It feels like alot stronger of a jerk than only a single cylinder misfire. Enough to throw you forward in the seat true quick. It actually entirely cut out about a week ago and would not start up anymore, however I replaced the distributor cap/rotor at that point and the car worked again (although the engine sounds alot different that prior to and I think it could be lacking power. (gas mileage is still no different though) Anyways I believed that solved the dilemma, however it is happening again. I have got all new spark plugs, cap/rotor, new fuel filter. The plug wires are about 2 years of age, the igniter is about 2 years of age. The fuel pump makes regular noise like it is working. Any Ideas what the likely culprit is?Uncertain if it is related, however recently the tachometer is having issues. Whenever I get up to about 4k rpm's, the tach needle starts wobbling all around the place. And recently when the car was misfiring true bad, the tach was acting up a lot lot more than usual, I would be driving along at about 3K rpm's and the needle would jump up to 5k, would not affect engine performance though.
