Civic AC sometimes blows hot air.?I only bought a used 2001 Civic HX. I noticed the first day after I had been driving it for a while, the AC began blowing hot air. I did not change any controls, this only happened every one of the sudden. Turning the fan off and on did not assist, neither did hitting the AC button (which remained lit even when it was not working). Later that evening, it was working fine. I took it back to the dealership and they "charged" it. It worked fine during one day of heavy driving, then the following day it went out again just to begin working later in the evening when it had been parked for a while. It seems pretty random. Anybody know what is going on? When I bought it, the salesman showed me the maintenance history for the auto. The compressor was replaced in '05.Well, I bought it used w/o warranty. I checked eBay for the parts and was able to locate the drier and valve for ~40USD. Are you saying that it's over priced for the reason that of the labor? From what i know is a brief ram stays near the engine and a cold-air goes down under your battery where the air is coldest away from engine heat. I do get REALLY great speed after 80 mph and prior to 110.Read more on this topic air problems.?I've a 97 Honda Passport, when I got the car 3 mnths ago the owner showed me the paperwork from where she purchased a new blower and had it installed. The blower works, however notghing is coming out of my air vents, no heat or air, my defrost will not even work. What could possibly be the dilemma?
