95 Honda Civic LX Alternator problem maybe?I only bought a 1995 Honda Civic LX for $50.00 from somebody who was going to donate it. It doesn't burn oil, starts and runs good, however after 2 days the battery light came on, lights began to dim, stereo even quit. Alternator problem right? However also the speedometer quick working???? Are these things related? I am thinking alternator, however could it be the pc?? Maybe something else???? Then you ought to gain the ability to take away the belt.Well I loosened both bolts. Still no slack in the belt. I tried banging on it thinking it could be rusted on something. Still not a thing. I immediately have the main bolt right off and the adjusting bolt out rather a bit and yet not a thing.Well I need to top mount bolt out and it's not seized. The haynes guide does not say anything about a third bolt and I'm able to't locate one either.Read more on this topic 2001 v6 accord alternator problems?my girl has a 2001 v6 accord and she has been having alternator difficulties. i've had to replace it 4 times over the previous year and a half. im kinda getting tired of replacing it and buying her new ones. i had the belief that i bought a defective refurb. alternator the 1st time at autozone so i went to honda and bought a brand new one. it still goes out, i've a new battery and i put new posts. ive taken it in twice immediately for new alternators and for troubleshooting and they cant figure it out. shes in puerto rico immediately and she wants it fixed when she comes back. please assist i dont desire to hear her complain anymore!!!!!!!Read more on this topic
