Is it ok to take the belt off the A/C pump in a 95 civic?I only had my A/C blow up on me tonight and I am thinking my pump is seized. As quickly as the pump blew, it blew the main 80A fuse in the engine. I am fine with no A/C and would prefer to only take the belt off however I'm able to't tell if the belt on the A/C is driving another thing for the reason that the A/C pump is way at the bottom of the engine. I was not able to locate any diagrams on the internet and I do not have a repair guide. Could somebody whose a guide or knows the solution tell me if the belt(s) across the A/C pump drive another thing. I do not desire to cut them off if it's going to cause more things to not work. If it's attached to something else I guess I will need to shell out the cash to gain it fixed however I'd truly love to avoid that since I've very little cash immediately.Read more on this topic did I waste my money time doing a timming beltDid I waste my cash time doing a timming especially by the dealer. My 2000honda accord se had 23,000 miles 8 years and garaged. I was told that your timming belt ought to be replaced if you had 100,000 miles or 7 years which ever comes first. So I had my timming belt, water pump, belts, ect. So does this car have a interference engineI'm skeptical for the reason that I never replaced timming belt, water pump at so low a millage. Does the time factor truly dry out the belts if your car is garaged. Read more on this topic 91 honda accord 2.2L sohc t belt HELP!!!!!!?ok this is what i'm up against i'm changing the t belt on a 91 accord and the center bolt for the harmonic balancer is so siezed on that i do not know what steps to take any more i've tried my air impact on it. tried heating the finish of the bolt and then impacting it. tried heating and then putting a power bar on it however i do not know how much torque the bolt can take prior to it would snap. has any one been in this position ??????? any one have any tricks for these bolts?????? any one know if these bolts can handle having a power bar with a piece of pipe on it for additional leverage prior to it would snap????? HELP!!?Hi, I had the timing belt, water pump, and all the driver belts on my 99 Honda CIVIC as welll he changed the drivers mount. The car did not make this squeaking noise. Immediately it makes this noise when you apply the gas, you are able to hear it on PARK and amongst engine RPM at 3 or higher. It is annoying specially when Iam driving it. What's the cause of this, I truly trust this mechanic so I dont think he put the wrong belts on, however then again who knows....What do I do???? Thank you most everybody!!Read more on this topic
