just Brake lights out? 2000 Honda EXSo, My wife has a 2000 Honda Civic EX (V6)... We're about to have our first born so cash is tight so taking it to the dealer is rediculously over priced it looks like... however, I am worried letting her drive amongst situation...Her brake lights don't work. The tail lights do and the middle (trunk) brake light works however the main brake lights = not a thing. It's not a fuse as we checked those and it's not the bulbs as we also had those checked... I've no idea what it's... can anybody assist/ speculate? All the lights and on the dash came on, however it would not turn over. When I took the key out it was still kinda running. It was creating a sound similar to a vaccum. They have been working fine over the previous few months. Only recently, the right tail light BARELY shows any light when I hit the brakes, however the left one is fine. If I turn on the lights, it lights up properly, however doesn't get brighter when I hit the brakes.I checked the connection and reseated it, however not a thing changed. I am tempted to break out the multimeter to check voltages between sides, however uncertain what other thing it could be...?It's a LED fixture, not a bulb replacement. So there's not a single bulbs that I'm able to replace effortlessly. Secondly, the bulbs DO light up when I turn on the lights - they only do not get brighter when I hit the brakes.Read more on this topic
