Having car problems???I've a 90 Accord. It has been turning off on me while I'm driving. It wont start back up until I've waited awhile. This just seems to happen in the daytime when it's hot. At night, I dont have and difficulties. The temperature gauge says the temp. is great so I dont think it is overheating. I've also changed the thermostat. When it turns off and I am attempting to turn it back on I cant hear the fuel pump go on. I dont know if it's a problem amongst fuel pump for the reason that it just happens in the daytime when it's hotter. I've changed the fuel filter and the pump is fairly new. It is certain to start right back up and run fine. The fuel pump and fuel filter are new so I understand that is not the dilemma. I know it needs an ignition switch for the reason that on occasion it wont start or the key will get stuck. Could this be causing the car to turn off? I have needed to replace that however the has been running fine til a handful of days ago. Or could it be something else?When the car is gonna die I'm able to still rev the engine and the rpms go up, however it seems to not have power and it still only dies out.Also, I've replaced the tumbler however not the entire switch.Read more on this topic
