Why is my car struggling for speed?Only recently my 1987 Honda Accord has been fighting to gain up to speed. For example if I'd stop at a red light and wait to turn right onto another street when I would like to hit about 35 the car goes all the way up to 4,000 RPM when im barely touching the gas. What do you believe is the cause of this dilemma? I'm suspecting it needs a new air filter. Please assist. P.S- Once it gets up to speed then it does not rev as high. Jerks! I guess I am gonna be walking to work immediately, oh well. Great night all.No we did not leave it open, my husband has a pretty great stereo programme in it and always double checks the car prior to he goes to bed.
