Is the first year of a Car redesign usually the Worst?This is what I have heard. Each generation of cars goes for 4 to 6 years prior to a major model change. For example the Honda Accord was redesigned in 2003 and the body style stayed no different until the 2008 redesign.Is it safe to say that the FIRST year of the body change is likely to become the WORST? I've a 2006 Honda Accord. Accords are notorious for having a relatively rough ride. I've a 6spd MT, which means that the wheels in that package are 17 inches with low-profile tires (I understand that contributes to the rough ride).The're 2 things that bother me:1) The rough ride2) The massive gap between the wheel and the fenderIs there a suspension setup that I'm able to buy to close up that gap with no creating the ride rougher than it already is?I desire the car to look aggressive with no looking 'ricey'.@ C7S:Well, the Accord is not as great at dampening the smaller bumps on the road as a Mercedes-Benz or BMW. There is a noticeable difference. Okay, I've an 01 Base Honda Prelude with 77k miles. I bought it last july and am still paying on it. KBB for trade is 7700 at worst case I owe a little under a grand below that. My question is ought to I only use the cash for the timing belt and the difference I'd get for my prelude to only get the newer car immediately and pay the higher monthly bill however just have to manage smaller maintenance costs?I'm truly uncertain what I ought to do?
