Would you recommend an older Civic?Like...around 1990. Are they fun to drive? (I know they get great gas mileage...however are they FUN to drive? I would be getting one with a guide transmission)OK, to all you guys bashing Civics...i DON'T desire to "rice" it out...I am an American muscle guy myself...however i'm able to't afford that immediately!! I know all about k20's and b series however i desire something new and i need torque; so assist me out on this one. I reside in CT, on the NY border and in under a 150 mile radius i'm able to't locate a hatch with a k20 swap. So if i was going to carry out the swap myself what would be a great torqey engine to go with.i waas only curious regarding the vw engine, i'd never do it. I truly do care about realiablilty the the majority of. A turbo takes off of that and the ingines life so if it can be achieved reliably then fine.
