Hoda Civic help!!??hi, i'm 17 and desire to purchase my first auto. I was thinking of a honda civic. I would prefer to add ground effects and a paint job. What make ought to i get. I was turning right into the road then when I step the gas paddle, it didnt go, only stood there not going. I was gonna get into an accident until i let go of the paddle and stepped on it truly hard again. It feels like it was not getting enough fuel or no fuel at all, loosing power. And it loses power sometimes when i drive with normal speed around 35 to 40mph. Well im uncertain, only guessing regarding the fuel thing. Can somebody assist me. Honda guy?? What could possibly be the dilemma cause i looked online and i cant even begin to locate whats wrong with it and im a girl so i dont wanna take it to a mechanic and them gain the benefit od me if i dont even have and idea whats wrong with it.. Could it be the transmission??ok i was driving my car and it seemed like the gears (as in 2nd and 3rd) wouldnt catch, and it would acclerate past 20 miles an hour and then i needed to keep turing the car off so that when i did turn it back on it would work for about 10 minutes and then it only stopped acclertaing all together, no power even to reverse, however i do see the rpms going up however no power.
