civic knock sensor?ok so heres how it goes.i've a 96 civic ex 5spd and i'd a new(used) motor put in the auto.which i did it myself.however the motor i got is a jdm zc, and it did not come with a knock sensor?so i used the one from the aged motor.with no the knock sensor the car wont stay on. it is certain to only shut right off.the check engine light is on.the speedometer fluctuated in the start however immediately it is totally dead.anybody who've swapped a jdm motor have this dilemma?is it ok to drive around amongst speedometer dead?(it is been over 6months.)what ought to i do?please assist.thank you alotthe car is essentially a obd2 and the ecu was not replacedRead more on this topic How do I take out the decals off a Civic?I bought one used not too long ago, and the decals are basically a internet site that I have never even heard of that makes me look similar to a total advertising tool.
