maintenance codes on honda?I've a 2001 honda accord only had the oil changed two weeks ago,,all the fulids are great,,however the maintenance light came on..took it to car zone where they hooked it to a pc,,the code P1739 came up,,and they did not know what the code stood for...anybody know..the car just has 52,000 miles on itRead more on this topic Odyssey Navigation codes?A year ago I purchased a 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring Edition and only the other night the battery dies on me. I had the battery jumped, however immediately the Navigation console is requiring a passcode to be entered. I've no idea what this code may be. Does anybody know what the factory default code would be and/or the way to reset the code back to the default?Read more on this topic Error Code 5 on a '92 Accord CD changerGreetings,I only bought a 1992 Accord from my sister, it has a 6 disc CD changer in the trunk that I have been having trouble with. On the in-dash console the display reads "E-05". The changer will take the cartridge while the car is turned off, however when I turn it on the cartridge is automatically ejected. My sister said the changer will sometimes "eat" the cartridge and her dealership gave her a printout on the way to fix the dilemma. She never got around to fixing it and has since misplaced the printout. I would go to the dealership myself, however I work during their business hours so it's not possible. Has someone else had this dilemma and by chance understand the way to contend with it? The check engine light pops on at all times and I ignored it for a few weeks or so. I had trouble starting my car for a handful of days so I changed the fuel filter... that did not work. I put injector cleaner in amongst fuel and I believed that it was cleared up. The other day it would not start again. Immediately today my engine light came on when I was at a stop light and the rpm's dropped low and the car stalled out and would not start. I gave it an attempt each 10 minutes for an hour and lastly it began. I drove it home and parked it. I am getting a code 43 (fuel programme). It failed the state emission test today. Ironically on the way to the test facility the check engine light came on. The code the testing facility gave to me (explanation why it failed) was P1456.Researching this code it came back to "leak detected in EVAP control programme." Evaporator canister purge programme leak detected.Does anybody understand the way to repair this? I'd rather fix this myself then spending bank by taking the car to the dealer.Read more on this topic
