I was considering buying an aluminum crank pulley and having the mechanic install it at an identical time. The just affordable one I'm able to locate is a lightly underdriven Unorthodox pulley (~$180). My just concern is that I drive alot in city traffic doing pizza delivery, so I would like to make certain that a bit of underdrive will not kill my alternator etc. Underdrive crank pulley are supposed to supply extra hp by reducing stress and weight at the crankshaft. Would you recommend this over a cat-back(I'm able to just truly afford one)?Any knowledgable input would be appreciated. Thank you!Read more on this topic I've been working on a 95 honda civicEX. Can I put a crankshaft pulley from a DX into an EX?Will it drive ok? The crankshaft pulley for the DX (part # 13811 p00 u00) weighs lower than the crankshaft pulley for the EX (part # 13810 p26 003)...However I think the belts will still fit on if I do install the DX crankshaft into my 95 2DR Automatic Trans Civic. I truly only desire to learn what difference it is certain to make this DX crankshaft is installed into my EX.Thank you!!!Read more on this topic
