I have a 1987 honda accord and it cranks up but won't stay?I've a 1987 honda accord and it cranks up however will not stay?running unless your foot stays on the gas. What could be wrong with it. it has a brand new carborator (sp) and it did stay running for a bit when I adjusted the idle however it did not sound right. It was idling up and then down. Died out when I put breather and stuff back on.Read more on this topic 97 honda prelude.... sometimes the security light will flash and the car will not crank.?I've tried 3 spare keys ( properly coded ) and the dilemma is still there. Also sometimes when i'm driving the car the security light flashes, however the car runs fine.The car DOES have an immobilizer , if i keep trying to begin it is certain to start with no boosting. I bought a number of 1/2" line and it opened that baby up LOL. Lastly got that mofo off!!! Most certainly it didnt assist that I in fact tightened the bolt at first amongst starter as I tried the aged bump the starter trick just to discover the motor was mounted the wrong way for doing that.Read more on this topic
