cruise control failure, need help!!?I only got a 99 Accord LX V6 with 68K miles on it, however I noticed the cruise control isn't working. The switch on the left of steering wheel can be turned on, only the buttons on the steering wheels isn't responsive (the cruise light in the dash was also off). Another symptom is the D4 light in the dash isn't working as well, can these 2 symptom lead to same cause? If I would like to check fuse, could u guys tell me which one I ought to check? I have seen the specifications on the 2008 Honda Fit and Cruise Control is listed as a standard option for the guide transmission. Maybe is only a typo...OK, however how does it truly work? Say I am in the fifth gear attempting to climb a hill... what happens amongst stick ... I am confused. Can you set it to maintain a certain speed or is only to assist you when you're with the wrong gear ...Allow me place it this way: does cruise control work when you're in the fourth gear or you are able to only turn it on when you have reached the fifth gear and desire to stay at that speed?Read more on this topic Cruise control - 00 accord lx coupe?I am uncertain if it's the car or what, however when i use the cruise it seems like it has a difficult time keeping a consistant speed. it's like it is certain to slow down and then speed back up, and sometimes it will not even work. what is up with that? After awhile it goes fine. It usually does this when it gets truly cold.It is a 5 speed. And sometimes it goes only fine. This summer has been truly hot, about 100 degrees everyday however last night it rained and the temperature drop to about 60, could that have anything to carry out with it?Read more on this topic
