Why aren't the dash lights working in my honda?i've a 1997 honda civic lx, and all the interior lights work, includeing the speedometer gauge. However i noticed that the other lights in the dash are not on (the heater/ac buttons ect.), also the center consel where it says drive, rerverse, ect. has no lights on it either. i checked the fuses and the dimmer..they're all okay..so what do you believe the dilemma is.Read more on this topic 2000 Honda Accord dash lights?Was driving down the road within 24 hours and all of a sudden nearly every light on the dash came on. Brake light, maintenance light, door ajar, etc. And at an identical time it began creating a weird noise under the hood. Difficult to describe the noise. Anyway, it's at the honder dealer immediately and they are gonna have a look at it tomorrow. They said they had never seen this kinda problem prior to. Any info you guys may have would be good. All is ok except that all the panel lights are dark when turning on the head light. Began two weeks ago, the maintenance required light would flash while I'm driving. When the light flashes for couple seconds, all the meters on the Dashboard (i.e. Gas, Speedometer, etc) would drop to zero. This is happening frequently. I took my car to the dealer and dealer doesn't know what would cause the dilemma and desire to charge $200 to run tests. Has anybody experienced this dilemma? I've recently had an oil change and they did not reset it. I understand that after each few thousand miles it needs to be reset and does not necessarily indicate a dilemma amongst auto.It's a 2003 Accord EX-VLAlso... does anybody know if you'll be able to create a backup of your navigation disk?
