how to read a ECU code?i heard that the code on the ECU can let you know if it is a v-tec and guide pc, how can i read this code? were can i get a automatic ECU that a v-tec at a cheap cost?i've a 1993 honda civic, i bought a new engine it is the JDM B16 v-tec 2gn the ECU that i've it is a non v-tec. do i must purchase a v-tec ECU or the way to i change it to a v-tec, i would like to make certain that if i purchase a other ECU that it is the one i need.Read more on this topic Honda Accord LXI 1988 ECU not relaying codes?Honda Accord 1988 LXI:We turn the key on the auto, and it gets power, however will not start. We have checked the spark plugs, it's getting fuel and it's getting fire. However, we have pulled the plug on the fuel injector and theres no fire going to it. We even checked for the 'press' after the 'check engine' light goes off 5 seconds after we turned it on, and the press was there... I've the hayes guide however isn't truly helping me. I'm uncertain what to connect. My VSS sensor burned out and im pretty certain that. thats the explanation why the Check Engine Came On. When I was trying to solve how to study the Codes i tried different combinationations immediately my ABS light came on.
