Uprating engine on 1986 Honda Civic 1.5?I've a 1986 Honda Civic Shuttle estate with a 1.5 engine and autobox. Good little car however sometimes lacking in power, especially on a long incline while carrying a load.So I am thinking of either a number of way to upgrade the existing engine, or drop in a more powerful engine from another model.(My pipedream is to install a 3.2 V6 from a Honda Legend however would value more sensible suggestions!)Note: I do not desire to replace the car with a different one, only modify this one.Read more on this topic For a honda civic, B18b engine or B16a engine?I've a 98 civic DX, have completed a lot exterior mods, it looks fast however everybody that nows about hondas, knows that the DX has verry little potential unless an engine swap.
