Honda Accord 2003 Check Engine Light?I've a honda accord 2003 (4 cyl). my check engine light came up while i was driving and when i came to a stop and shifted to Parking, the engine got shut down by itself. After I began again, the car engine ran well, and when I shifted to Drive and back to Park, the engine again got shut down. My mechanic took a look and said the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Immediately everytime the rpms get to about 2,700 to 3,000 rpms the engine would sputter and slightly hesitate. I'm afraid to bring the engine above 2,700 rpms.Yeah it will not allow me go above 3,000 rpms. The check engine light came on and I had it hooked up to a pc. I was told the downflow oxygen sensor needed to be replaced. So I picked one up from Honda, $120, and replaced it. The light went off. A fortnight go by and the light is on again. I've unplugged the battery to see if that would assist. Light stayed off for about a week, just for the reason that it was relearning codes. Then I had the code taken out by a pc, and it is back on again. I do not know what steps to take. The car has over 110,000 miles on it but even now runs good and has not needed any repairs. Is there anyway to turn off the light? The service engine soon light that comes on each so a lot miles can be turned off however I don't know abou the Yellow Check Engine Symbol.Read more on this topic
