99 Honda Civic... Check engine light?Ok, I've a 99 honda civic lx... My check enging light came on right after my fiance filled it up with gas and accidently left the gas cap at the gas station..Which we've bought a new cap for it, most certainly, however it's still on and the car to me is acting weird..When I'm driving it starts acting like it isnt getting enough gas however just from about 50 to 60 mph... And when I'm going up hill it gets sluggish.. Also sometimes when I take off.. And when it does this my check engine light starts flashing.I know I must take it to the mechanic, however just had the urge to see if anybody had any ideas.actually the fuel cap being off will cause it to flash.. I read the guide.. however that's what I'm saying.. I've replaced it immediately twice..Read more on this topic check engine light on a 2000 honda civic LX?I've a 2000 Honda Civic LX, and the check engine light is on, and the car idles truly low (only above 0), however doesn't stall out. We had it hooked up to a diagnostic machine (we went to Autozone), and the codes that pop up are: 1399, and 1381. Other than it idling low, the car runs good, still goes 0-60 in 8 seconds, still shifts perfect. Any idea what is going on with it, and what do the codes mean? btw, it has a little over 130,000 miles on it.last month we had a tune up done on the auto, oil change, new spark plugs, etc. My step-dad is a mechanic, and he even set the idle up, however in under 3 days it went back down to above 0.Read more on this topic 1990 civic hatch check engine light on?ok, a buddy of mine is creating a crx from the ground up, however what the debate is is the power plant... this kids dad owns a performance shop so any suggestions are entirely doable... I suggested a K20- T03 turbo... and he was thinking about a GSR-t04 turbo.... what do you believe??? he wants it to gain the ability to hold it's own against his baby ( Supra TT est: 1220hp) and the just way to carry out that's to create power to weight ratio rediculous... and have the energy to the ground... when that problem arises I will ask againthe fastest run the supra pulled was at the supra meet in MD a year ago, it ran a 8.998 however blew rings and caused one of the turbos to seize... so it has been nerfed since then to not hurt the block.. which is harder to come byRead more on this topic
