Engine Swap?I've a 94 del sol s. Not a Si only a S. 1.5L Sohc 5sp guide trans. Non Vtech. I would like to do an engine swap. Immediately I do not know what will fit into my engine bay, and or what will fit my trans.. I would prefer to go to a B16 or even maybe a B18 if possible."Im assuming you desire the b18C, VTEC, found in civic type-R, 200hp, that may need a tiny work, im pretty sure it is certain to fit your tranny."will it match up amongst engine mounts. And if i purchase a matched tranny will the axles and all the things match. H22 99' Prelude?Ok, well i own a 1999 honda prelude which, at the moment doesn't work, i was thinkin of rebuilding the motor and adding aftermarket parts for example pistons, rods, camshafts, etc. and going turbo, the motor has 130K. Then again I was thinking of doing a motor swap however dont know what type of other H22 ought to i put. I been hearing type s, JDM, and spoon engines, however i desire as well as do internal work. I've about 6K that i'm able to spend to fix my auto. So which ought to I do, rebuild the engine that i've immediately, or purchase a new engine and do internal work as well?Read more on this topic
