Is it worth it to fix my 1988 Honda accord? The front wheel of my 1988 Honda Accord on the passenger side axle makes an incredibly loud sounding metal scratch noise when I drive slow and make turns. I was told that it is not quite vital and that I dont must replace immediately (since for the reason that lack of cash it was not top priority), however eventually I'll need to replace. It has been nearly a year since the noise began. Immediately I'll need to replace both front tires for the reason that it is balding and replace/fix my both my front axle and one of my upper ball joints in the front also. The entire cost shall be worth about $500 to $700. What will the outcomes be if I only keep on driving with no fixing both axles and the upper ball joint on the driver side? How much longer can I drive my car with out fixing that particular problem? Only two weeks ago I needed to replace new batteries and new alternator, set me back about nearly $400! I can even have transmission difficulties! Is it worth it to fix it all? How much will I get for it if I sold as is?Only in case, the mileage is nearly 170,000.Read more on this topic Is there any hope in fixing up a 91 Honda accord DX?Only thinking about buying a used auto, and I am 15, my parents arent going to purchase me an auto, and they wont let me to obtain a job (kinda sunk already, huh?)
