95 Honda cx hatch w/z6 swap..Car Trouble!!?My Husband has been having car trouble for about a wk & a half immediately. He runs race gas through his car about each weekend to go to the track, only thought I may mention this uncertain if it makes that much of a difference. Anyways, he is on Forums like Honda-Tech & Turbo-D16 & has asked them with truly no responces at all. So, I told him I'd attempt here, Ive gotten a lot good answers here!!He has created out a record of what his car is running, Symptoms, & What he has tried him self to resolve the dilemma. Help Please!?Well, my spedometer dies randomly on me sometimes... it is sort of intermittent and I can't seem to search for a pattern of whichever type... wether it is getting up to 35mph in second gear then shifting, going up from 20mph in 3rd gear. However it seems to die mostly when im only starting from stop, like... it wont go up at all...Also, sometimes if i tap or rather use a number of controlled violence on the dash, right above the spedometer... it jumps back up to the correct speed. Which leads me to believe that it's something wrong near the dash and not back near the wheels... any assist?Read more on this topic Are Honda's still Japanese being they are made in USA now?My 07 Civic has an engine origin of USA and a transmission origin of Indonesia. Since the assembly point is in Ohio for all civics made in U.S., does that mean they're no longer Japanese? I know I am most likely wrong, since they're most likely designed and engineered in Japan, right? Do all of these USA plants mean the cars are "made" here?Read more on this topic
