Should I trade in my 2002 Cavalier w/ 76,000 miles to use towards a purchase of a used Honda...

...Civic? ASSIST!? I truly desire a Civic or any type of cool import auto, however I do not know if it would be a great idea to trade in my Cavalier toward a buy of a Civic that can be older than the Cavy and higher in mileage. I even now owe 4,000 dollars on my Cavy, so I'm confused as to what I ought to do.Individuals tell me that it would be worth it, even the possibility of the Civic is older for the reason that it's only such a more reliable car overall. If i do trade it in i desire the civic to be somewhere around $8,000 or lower. Please provide me your advice!!!

Honda vs Mazda New Car ?

We need a mint condition auto. We're a family of 3 (2 adults,1 baby) and we hope to have another 1-2 children. I bought a Civic out of college and have 150,000 miles on it - it has been WONDERFUL. I'm looking at the Accord immediately, however recently, the Mazda 6, 7 and 9 have caught my eye. I also reside in Detroit where American Cars are the push as so a lot of the community have lost their jobs. I'd like to support American car companies, however after owning 3 Fords (2 Tempos 1 Taurus) and 1 Honda; I only don't have the self-belief to purchase another Ford/Chrysler/GM. I know Mazda is owned by Ford, however I've heard good things. Please provide me your opinions on the Mazda 6,7 or 9 in comparison to the Honda Accord or CRV - in regards to my loved ones situation (Hey, $20k+ is plenty to spend - this thing has to last!!!)

GM's biggest rival: Honda?

Honda profit rises 63 percent on sales of fuel-efficient cars(http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll...ATE/710250455) and Honda To Double Green Buildings In U.S. Following Year(http://www.hondanews.com/categories/1097/releases/4342) . Immediately if Honda isn't the top achieving, fuel efficient automaker on the globe with tons of profits, i dont know what is. Half-year group profit is already 4.5 billion. Tell me why GM ought to not emulate Honda. Honda makes fuel-efficient, reliable, and great quality cars. Note that the greatest sellers-Accord, Civic, CR-V - are all FWDs. No one buys an Acura for the reason that Acuras are FWDs too. Hence, it is sales dropped 16 percent.
