06' honda question?so i hit a curb at 5-10 miles an hour in my former friend's auto. 18 hours later something went out on his car and he crashed, wrecking the vehicle beyond recognition. the questions are: what could have gone out to cause such an accident? and could i've been the one who planted the seed for this to happen considering how quick i was going the night prior to? and who ought to i contact to solve this mystery?Read more on this topic Why are Honda's "The Ultimate Ricer"?I go to school and take car repair. I'm not new to cars, and know what makes an car quick and what makes it........ stupid. If you drive a honda, fine, I do not care. Do what you require, it makes no difference to me. However why does each young male owner of a used honda have to make it "fast" (or so they think) by adding a fart can exhaust, carbon fiber hood, and retarded spoiler and body kit? I see these cars everyday, do not think I am only creating this up. And I know you see it too. Maybe you own one. These cars aren't fast, intake and exhaust do relatively not a thing to assist your auto's performance. They add several horses, and make the car sound different. In the case of civics, they sound like shit the majority of the time. What I would like to know is, why do these individuals even bother? You do not have a ton of cash, I relize, I am there too. However cheap aftermarket parts and a plethora of dumb accessories just make your car look cheaper than it's, and it brings out your ignorance in the automotive field.Read more on this topic Whats the big deal about hondas?I only killed my 2nd civic 2000 and it just had 120000 on it and the one prior to it 99 had 171000.I had just 1 great one 95 that lasted 230000.I'm not that hard on cars i consistantly got 200000plus prior to they completly died (2 chevys 1 buick)and the just great deal there was alot of brake difficulties however the engines and trannys held up well.I only dont get these cars have such a great rep however i cant seem to obtain the miles out of them that they say you are able to.Has someone else had a civic they did not get a lot miles out of and if so how a lot?Read more on this topic
