Read more on this topic What would you pay for a '98 Honda ?I'm attempting to sell my 1998 Honda Civic Ex.It is a 2 door, automatic, pristine on the outside auto.The transmission needs to be replaced soon, however not immediately. Most likely in two months .. I was quoted $1500 for the repair.Other than that, I've taken the car in for regular services, I've replaced the majority of hoses and belts, I change the oil each 3,000 miles. I took very good care of the auto. It has working a/c heater, power windows, locks, and steering and a moonroof. The transmission is the single thing "wrong" with it.I has in a hit and run a while ago, however only the hood and grill were smooshed. I replaced them brand new and repainted the complete car - so it has a 6 month old (new) paint job.I've no idea what to sell this car for. What would be a reasonable cost to ask ?I checked KBB and it said $3000-something.However I feel that is too high b/c of the transmission they will have to gain fixed in a couple months.Read more on this topic
