1993 honda accord?i've a 93 honda accord.... I bought it about a fortnight ago. the guy i bought it from said that about once each other month while driving it, it would only shut down. he said that if you let it sit for about 30 minutes it is certain to start back up. yesterday while driving the car shut down. the motor only stops or something,,, i waited 30 mins, it began however then i just got about 3 miles and it happened again just immediately it will not start back up. it is certain to turn over however only does not fire. somebody said it could be the fuel filter, however the guy i bought it from said that he believed it was the ignition module. what are yours thoughts???Read more on this topic 1993 Honda accord Lx question?I've had my Accord for 2 years. It's an automatic (I think that a number of actually are manuals), and the shifter has a 3rd and 4th gear also including low 1 and low 2. The individual I bought it from said that 3rd is for town speeds, and at 35-40 mph I needed to shift into 4th gear (highway speeds). I've achieved this for awhile, and in 3rd gear at 35-40 the engine does sound like it needs shifted, only similar to a guide. However on occasion I forget to downshift and leave it in 4th at a stop sign, and I take off from 4th it does not truly seem like I must shift. Can anybody tell me if this shifting thing is necessary?first answer: that made no sense! #rg gear is 55-60 mph however i ought to leave it ion 4th? i doubt it shifts after 55 mph! And in 3rd it does make a sound like it ought to be shifted and stops in 4th, where I'M GOING FASTER!Read more on this topic 1993 2nd hand honda accord problem?i got a 2nd owned 93 4 door accord and iam having difficulties starting the engine up again after a long drive. like after an hour drive. then after quite some tries cranking it up it goes through. it is truly weird. do you believe it is from the pc box? dont know where to begin. i cant only drive it in an autoshop w/o them seeing the actual problem.precisely honda guy. those are the difficulties that iam experiencing. what can you suggest? thanksRead more on this topic
