Clutch issue with 1995 Honda Accord EX?We own a Honda Accord EX with a 5 spd guide transmission, 94,000 miles. Recently the Cltuch pedal enagges and disengages the transmission amongst pedal very close to the floor. 1) What is going wrong?2) How is this fixed? 3) What ahould it cost to fix? 4) Can the clutch be adjusted versus repaired by disassembling the clutch assembly and replacing parts?Read more on this topic 1986 Honda Accord engine knock!? Clutch maybe?Ok heres the deal, my 1986 Honda Accord (LX, carbeurated) is creating a knocking/ rattling noise. however, it isn't constant. when in neutral amongst e-brake on, it is certain to not do it it shouldn't be of any concern how much gas you provide it. it also doesn't occur at higher speeds, sometimes not even at lower speeds. mostly upon takeoff and in 2nd, it is not truly loud. I took it in to the Honda Dealer to have it inspected and they advised me that I need an entire new transmission. Immediately my car is just 7 years of age and in good condition and I locate it difficult to accept as true that I need a new transmission already. I use to have a 1991 Honda Accord and it's still running and i've not had to replace it is transmission. I feel like the Honda Dealer is attempting to get the benefit of me for the reason that I'm a lady. I could use a number of advice on what I ought to do in this situation. Does anybody Know much regarding the torque clutch converter and does it go that effortlessly? Better still, is my just option to replace the entire transmission?
