SRS light has come on my honda accord 1999 (uk)?i've a honda accord 2.0l es 1999 Treg with in uk the srs light came on and i took it to honda and they reset it and they charged me $50 and couple weeks after it has come on again, i dont know what steps to take is there a way of reseting it my self. sure honda was saying it was something to carry out amongst seat side airbags or summat. has anybody tried it out there!!!!thanksRead more on this topic srs light on 2000 honda accord?The car was involved in a crash that didnt deploy the airbags about a year ago, and that was the just crash it had been involved in. However, the srs light came on about 5 months ago. I take my drivers license test in 5 days, and obviously, the dmv wont allow me test in that auto. I do not feel like rescheduling my appointment and needing to wait another month to gain my license, so is there any way i'm able to fix this? I also heard by unplugging the battery, then replugging it, the light could go off, is this true? She has repeatedly brought it to the stealership and told they could not fix it. Immediately she has it there again within 24 hours and they told her it would cost $500 to fix. I think she is being ripped off. What do you believe? For the reason that of the impact I needed to replace rear bumper cover, tail lights and tinker other parts across the boot.Can the SRS light be for the reason that of this collision? If so How can I prove that to insurance. Accident happened 4 months back and at that time the mechanica who did the repair said it can not be for the reason that of rear collision.Immediately honda dealer says it's for the reason that of accident. Will the dealer provide me any documentation to create claim against that accident?Thank you in advance.Actually mechanic did reset it. however it came back on.
