Honda Accord 92' Transmission Replacement?To start with hello,My dilemma is that my Honda's transmission went out awhile back, so I need to replace it. Immediately I'm able to shell out 800+ to gain it fixed, however I would much rather discover to carry out it myself. Immediately I am not too experienced when it amounts to mechanics, the the majority of I have ever did was change the brakes on my own; however I figure it is a great time to begin to discover. I've basically zero idea where to begin. So I was hoping somebody could point me in the direction of an "the way to" guide on removal/replacement of an transmission. When I first put the car into drive it has trouble engaging. When I step on the gas it revs like it's in neutral. Then shifting from second to third and third to fourth the engine revs a little high while it shifts. I was told that there may be a dilemma amongst torque converter or maybe it needs a fluid and filter change. Any ideas of what is wrong and a good way to fix it?Read more on this topic
