Honda Civic...Timing off?I only had timing belt and other belts replaced on my 92 civic....it is running however somethnig isn't right...it doesnt have much power...and it sounds like im dragging a chain also....it is louder than prior to...as in higher rpms...i replaced distributor cap alsoits a home jobif off a tooth or 2...do i move the top or bottom counterclockwise?if off a tooth or 2...do i move the top or bottom counterclockwise?how can i know that my tension is right? Also, turn the distributor? does it turn both ways? which way do i turn?send it to a certified shop and pay $900.00? if I could have I would've...here in the "true world" thats not a possibility....so how can I do this MYSELF? make certain my timing is right? thank you againRead more on this topic Does anyone know about the immobilizer system in Honda Civics?I have had no difficulties with a 2003 Honda Civic untilI tried to begin it tonight and the Key icon was flashing on theinstrument panel and car would not start. Uncertain what steps to take following.Thx.FPavick@yahoo.comRead more on this topic Why do people like Honda Civics?There entry level trim sucks, just gets 140 horse power, while for just $790 more you're able to aquire the scion tC entry level has 160 horse power, has more standard features than the civic plus looks a heck of alot better. The just advantage i see that the civic having is MPG which is just 7 MPG more than the scion, for just 7 MPG less i'd much rather have 160 horse power belive it or not it makes a difference. PLUS scion is made by Toyota which has the greatest resale value and the the majority of reliable company out there.Read more on this topic
