honda civic?

i've friends with civics, i consistantly hear em talk about how quick thiers is...i've the precisely same engine...mines not that fast? why? asside from maint. .is there some type of chip you are able to installi think it is also stock 1.6 ltr...the slow one...also 5 sp. ...my buddies civics have a lot miles on em too...mine I think has 150K ...i dont get it...oh, amongst ac on....stopped at light, in purchase for me to take off...I SHOULD turn off...or car starts jerking...like nearly not rolling at all...whats with that?ummm, i've not idea what u mean....i dont think i've VTEC engine...oh wait, maybe it does say vtec on the valve cover....would u mind explaining in non mechanical terms what ur saying? please

Driving etiquette chronicles part II? Honda Civics rule :) while Toyota Corollas drool! :(?

Ok, so yesterday I posted a query asking "Do you get tired of being too nice to individuals whilst you are driving?" So today I was driving in the left hand lane. The speed limit posted was 40 mph, however the flow of traffic was more like 60 mph. So I see this Toyota Corolla having "unlawful carnal knowlege" with my auto's rear. I am driving a Honda Civic. Mind you, both cars are economy cars and are similiar in size. Normally I will move over for much larger vehicles. ( 18 wheelers, SUV's trucks and other larger cars ) However I do have my limits! I am driving a Honda, the other person was driving a Toyota. The way I see it? Honda Civics rule and Toyota Corollas drool! GO AROUND! I am not moving!

Stupid Honda Civic?

My 2001 Civic's transmission croaked, luckily Honda replaced under warranty. The car has NEVER given me any trouble until immediately. Ought to I trade it in? It just has 50,000 miles and is in great condition, however what other thing could go wrong? My warranty is up soon. Would you trade it in? I've had Hondas with 200,000 miles that never gave me any trouble so I'm thinking this ones a lemon... Tell me what you would do.BTW Hondas are the best
