Modifying a Honda Civic?Why do young kids feel the must over modify a Honda Civic? They do realize they're disposable cars, right? I mean they originally cost about $12,000, so when these kids purchase them used with 150,000 miles on them for $2000 and then sink about $5000 into them between rims, paint, mufflers and body & suspension kits. Do they understand how ridiculous they look driving in them? They look similar to a little kid driving a go cart in the street all done up so that individuals will look at how stupid they're. Why not purchase a true car that's 90% of the way to being fully moded, similar to a Mustag or Camaro, with a TRUE engine in it and original sold as a sports car and not as a secretaries auto. Add a nice exhaust on a Mustang and you've one of the nicest sounding cars on the road with true acceleration. Not a number of little lawnmower that sounds like it's farting and going no where too fast.Read more on this topic Hopped up Honda Civic, ETC owners?Ok if you own say a 1995-2000 Honda Civic LX or similar vehicle and you put a high flow muffler and/or cat back exhaust on it, what makes you believe you would have any chance at all against a 97 Integra GS-R? I'm in my late 20's and drive a bone stock GS-R and all of these high school kids in their maybe 105hp vehicles with about $300 worth of mods seem to think that their little noise makers on the back of them are truly going to carry out any great.
