Honda Civic Help?Hello,Only bought a Civic EX 97 with 118,000 miles. Only got a number of new tires, alignment, front brakes, new front discs. car runs fine, however i feel it should've more power. Any advices? Plus i was going to obtain a new timing belt with all the jazz that is supplied with that and also add a number of NGK spark plugs.The car feel like somtimes it gets stuck around 25-35 and then lastly shfts gears, however this issue happen each immediately a then. What can i do about that?Plus I changed the brakes and the discs and the brakes feel okay, doesnt feel full.Im in New Jersey, so if anybody knows a great shop to take it too, tell me.Thank you.Amongst engine kit cleaning, would that cost much?Read more on this topic My Automatic honda civic didnt catch gear for the second time in 3 months but runs great, why......is that? I've a 97 honda civic (automatic) and for the second time in 3 months while i was at a stop and tryd to press the gas to go it only reved up like if it was in neutral. When i place it in reverse it went perfectly and i place it in drive again and it went fine. My car runs good other then that lil problem I only hope my tranny isn't going out. Could somebody tell me what the prob may be, Please?Read more on this topic buying a honda civic, need information?my buddy has her heart set on getting a honda civic, and we will the dealership to gain one. when negotiating cost and whatnot, what are a number of counterpoints i could use regarding the car to obtain the salesmen to come down off the cost or put us in an improved negotiating position? i know theyll probly bring up the entire hondas last forever etc., i desire to learn the bad sides and what other cars i could say we're looking at and are better, and another thing thats negative about them. thank you!Read more on this topic
