Honda Civic getting hot?1996 Civic CX. While idling, for example in a traffic jam, if I let the engine idle the temp needle starts climbing and will keep climbing, would most likely go all the way up if I let it. However if I rev it up and keep it revved for several seconds, it is certain to go up only a bit more, then start going back down to normal. After a just minutes, it starts the cycle again of getting hot. Any ideas of what is causing this? My first thought is thermostat, however would it truly just stick at idle then release once the engine is revved? Also, my driver side visor is broken, and moulding they repaired prior to is peeling off. I took my car to them in previous time and they were a struggle to work with.
