1995 honda civic del sol, won't start.

I've a '95 Honda Civic Del Sol. Replaced the battery and when i tried to begin it, it would not start start. I've not driven the car for about a few weeks and so when i tried to begin it, it had a difficult time starting and i think drained the battery . So i gave it a jump and i fired right up. I ran it for a bit and when i turned it off and tried to begin it again and it wont not start. When i attempt to begin it it only makes a rapid clicking noise and not a thing else happens. any ideas why it is certain to start on a jump however not on it is own. it checked the battery with a meter and it read 12 volts.

Thank you,
Troy

2002 Honda Civic won't start...?

I've a 2002 Honda Civic with 45,000 miles on it. It's been slow turning over lately when I have gone to begin it (chugga chugga chugga kinda stuff). However this morning it would not kick over at all and immediately it does not even sputter; immediately all the dummy lights come on and there is a truly fast clicking noise that sounds like it's coming from the dash or under the hood. Bad alternator? Starter? Battery? The headlights do not look dim either, and neither do the dummy lights.
