honda element!!?Desire one for my 17th b-day, wished to know if it could take a hard hit. My father does not desire to purchase it cause he thinks there is just fiberglass and plastic in the gray prts. So what i would like to know is if it takes a great hit will everything get messed up. Including me. Like smashed up to the point where i am screwed with insurance, and life. I took it and they checked the battery, hoses, fluid levels and changed the oil. They went to rotate and balance my tires and the tech showed me excessive wear on the rear tires in the inside. He said it looked as if I had over 30,000 miles on these tires. I told him that I look after my vehicle (I've had it since July 06) and why would it look like that He said it can need an alignment. I do not know why it would need an alignment so soon for the reason that I treat this car as if it were a baby! I was studying the warranty publication and it looks like they'll cover it if theres no more than 12,000 miles on it. Ought to I shell out for an alignment. Ought to I put up a fight and make them pay? Also, what other causes would cause an car to wear the tires like this and need an alignment so soon? P.S Also I am a female that does not know alot about cars so simply explain. I've Black 06 Element that I only bought to I could deck one out (Black Element is where I derived my screen name her Dark Element which is the custom made lettering I created for the Rear Window) (BTW Im an artist and I design car graphix and such for individuals so Ill gladly take your concepts and design them for yall for good pricing) However I cant locate any body kits or much engine work/exhaust work for my gas guzzler a great deal less anything beyond graphix and int. work to deck it out.
