How many miles on your Honda?I'd a 92 Honda Accord (my baby!) that had 242,798 miles . Unfortunately, somebody hit me and it was totalled. My faith in Honda and their structural mechanics is what saved my life! I immediately have a 04 Honda Civic immediately and am looking ahead to a long, long history with it. How about you? What is your Honda mileage?(Actually I was hoping to gain to 300K and maybe win a prize? ha ha)Read more on this topic How many miles will a Honda S2000 run before it starts to have problems?I am looking to purchase a S2000. Immediately, I am well aware of Honda's legendary reliability. The DOHC VTEC's will damn close to never break down. Still, I sought to learn the S2000's reliability as oppsed to the VTEC's, especially when the S2K's engine tends to rev a bit higher . I have seen them go for sale with 100K+ miles, so I am assuming they do get there. However how a lot miles does a S2000 run prior to encountering a major engine or component problem? How reliable are they? And is it a great choice for a used auto?Thank you guys! And tell me if anybody is looking to sell their S2K!Read more on this topic How many miles is a Honda Civic 2000 SUPPOSED to run?So here is the case.I have got a Honda Civic Ex 2000 and I feel like i am runnin most less mileage than it's supposed to carry out. I did a little research on the internet and found out that the average MPG is supposed to be about 31 32ish. After doing the caculation. it's supposed to run about 308 miles for about 9.5G. However my actual mileage prior to the gas light comes on is about 200~215. I have been keepin track of this over the previous 6 times i have filled up my tank so this ought to be fairly accurate. Prior to I got my auto, it had been sittin there for about 3 years with no any proper preservation so that can be the dilemma... I am wonderin if there is any way I'm able to fix that if anybody knows? I am totally ignorant when it amounts to car stuff... So once you guys can please assist me out that will be good. If necessary, I'm able to post up a picture of the engine so you guys can see what is up. Person providing the the majority of helpful info will get chosen. Thank you!!!Thank you for the quick replys. I only searched on the internet and found out that the MPG for city is 28 and 35 for highway. Combined MPG would be 30. So my estimation for the mileage ought to be correct. As far as driving habbit goes, sometimes i do take a number of heavy steps to rush through traffic, causing RPM to go above 3 and the fuel meter decrease (which eventually increases back). Is that possibly the explanation why im gettin less miles? Also, does constantly switchin from neutral to D2 affect my mileage or harm my engine in anyway?Read more on this topic
