Adding an Intake?I am about to add a AEM Cold Air Intake on my 93 Civic DX however prior to I add my Cold Air Intake on I have heard I should do something to the exhaust for the reason that I've all this air being pulled in and it needs to go somewhere what needs to be completed. Do I need an entire new exhaust programme on do I only need a new muffler with wider pipe or what?Read more on this topic Which Honda engines respond best to bolt ons? And what regarding the B18c5 type R engine? Ive heard that if you add bolt ons to the Type R engine you finish up losing HP for the reason that honda went that additional mile and squeezed everyting they could out of it. I currently have the AEM short intake on my auto. Is there a large difference between those 2 types. He said the resonator has to be removed, is the car loud with that thing off, sounding like sport bikes? He doesnt have the AEM water valve, he told me that thing just works, when the filter is entirely submerged in water. He said that if you run through water puddles in the streets, highway, there shouldnt be a dilemma, as the filter has to be entirely submerged in water. is this true.
