Has anyone had leak problems with Honda Civic 2006?Our Honda Civic 2006 (8,564 miles) was parked on our descending driveway in front of our no flood zone home. Yes, there were a number of rain storms while we were away for the week. Windows and sunroof were closed and no one drove the car for the week. The seats, roof and door inside walls are dry. The trunk is also dry. The drivers floor mats and every one of the backseat floor was saturated with water. Front passenger side floor was dry. Took it to dealership and they do not have a clue and insisted that the car ought to have been standing in water for an extensive period of time. This isn't true! Dealership said that it isn't covered in warranty. The car floors are immediately showing mold and the Dealership wants $700.00 to replace carpets. Our ins. deductible is to high and we honestly feel this isn't our fault. Assist!! Any suggestions shall be appreciated.Read more on this topic 2002 honda civic leak inside the car what can be the problem?I recently notice water on the carpet on the driver side, first i though it was only a litlle leake however yesterday i was taking the carpet off to wash it and i learnt there was alot of water on the driver side and the left passenger side too> What can be cousing the dilemma ? i know it is not the heater core for the reason that i've not lost no coolent. could it be the ac evaporator and if it's why is in it wet on the passenger side??? please need helpRead more on this topic I have a 1995 Honda accord Lx There is a leak on the passenger side.?It was dripping from behind the glove box down to the floor. I am guessing it is the heater core. The windows fog up when it is sunny and theres a light sprinkle of rain, even with no rain. It has that smell warm wet smell. feels moist in the auto. What could it be and if it's the heater core how can i install myself? What tools will i need? I cant afford 500 for installation from a mechanic. I'm able to just afford the part. Also the air conditioner sucks. Not cold like it ought to be.Read more on this topic How can I stop sunroof from leaking?I've an aged (87) Honda Accord with a mechanical sunroof that leaks. The water does not fall right through as it rains, though. It collects somewhere in the roof and then rolls out and falls into the car the following time I get in and drive. The weird thing is that it does not do it at all times. Sometimes it is certain to rain horribly and no water collects. Other times, it is certain to just rain a little and I will finsh up with a ton of trapped water. I have not used/activated the sunroof in 2 years, so I don't have any idea what variable causes the diverse outcomes. My question, then, is this...since I should get another couple of years out of this auto, is there a number of sort of durable substance that I'm able to apply across the seal with the aim to make it impenetrable to water. I'm able to live with no ever with the sunroof again. Also, it won't make any difference what it looks like (the substance when dried). It can be totally ugly provided that it goes. Not intrigued in a proper repair.Read more on this topic
