Accord Engine Management Light

I'm driving a 2001 Accord VTEC S (UK model, if that makes a diffrence). The engine management light is coming on intermitently, as quickly as the light comes on the engine starts to chug and is undriveable. If I stop and turn the ignition on and off, the mgmt light stays on however the engine runs OK (however most likely not also including it ought to). After a handful of days the light will then turn itself off. I'm not mechanically minded and local dealerships charge around £90 only to hook the car up to their pc and let you know whats wrong, prior to they quote a cost for repair and I'm told if the dilemma is amongst management programme itself it is certain to cost around £800 (not worth the cost for the cost of the auto). This can not be relevant however in the 15 or so times this has happened it has always been when I turn hard left off of a roundabout. If anybody has any ideas or previous experience I'd appreciate the assist

How to get maintiance required light off the control panel of a Honda Odessey. Help please!?

I've attempted everything requested of me, for example taking the negative post off the battery for a just minutes & reattaching. The light only will not go off. Engineers must put this in so's the dealer will need to use a hand held equipment & charge an arm & a leg to take it off after having the oil changed. Know there's a number of easy asnwer to this however it escapes me.

94 Honda Accord Maintainance light?

Hi,my 94 accord coupe's maintainence light has been yellow since i bought it at 138k and it is immediately 152kwhat is the role of this light ?when does it change color ?why does it change color ?No it is not the check engine light however the roller steve is talking about.what i would like to know is at how a lot miles does this turn yellow or red. i mean approx how a lot miles 5k 3k or 100k ?

Turning off "Maint Required" light - Honda Accord '06?

Honda includes oil changes at 10,000 miles as a reason for the "Maint" light coming on. Immediately, I do not know who would let any vehicle go 10,000 miles between oil changes, however if the oil changes aren't done at the dealer, the light remains on. Is there an "at your own residence" way to reset the light trigger?
