Is my car digital clock related to my Stereo head Unit?Honda civic 93 ESI 1.6vtec (EH9 salloon). My sony Gt410u headunit only died on me when i was pumping my tunes. I've checked the fuse on the Headunit and the fuse under the dash relating to (stereo and cigerret lighter) all ok. the cigaret lighter works and I measured 12v (ignition power) and 2.8v (constant power) on the 2 terminals supplying voltage to headunit.Just other thing i picked up is that my Digital clock isn't working anymore either. It is a long shot however any assist?Indeed i cant locate the fuse for the Clock, it is not listed on my fuse pannel in the auto, it must be under the bonnet then.Aha! what's the constant power that supplied to the headunit to maintain the settings and time? I measured 2.8v for the constant power which must be utilized for the clock aswell seeing as it needs to maintain the time while car is off. ought to it be more than 2,8v?Hi, THANK YOU guys I fixed it only immediately.my clock was not working and I in fact remeber that if you reset your ECU from trouble codes you loose your digital clock time...under the hood there's a fuse 7.5 called "backup" which you take away for 5s to reset ECU...that fuse went and after replacing it all is OK.Cheers for the assist! much appreciatedRead more on this topic Someone Please Give Me 2000 Honda Civic Radio Unlock Code?Read on the internet, I think I need to wait till the dealership opens on Monday.
