What if time: Can I put a Chevy Generation IV small block v8 in my 2003 Honda Accord EX coupe?I am an ex- 2006 Impala SS owner (horrible accident, do not ask), and I was gifted with an Accord. I miss my American muscle, as much as I appreciate the gift. I like the style of the Accord (and the fuel efficiency, most certainly!), and I only happened to begin thinking, what if? Is this a physical impossibility? If it's indeed possible, what may it cost? Would a mechanic think I am crazy? (You do not need to answer that part.) What alse could I do to provide my car a number of "oomph"?Thank you for the ideas, and I am amused at a number of the other responses. I *did* say the Honda was a gift and it's a "what if" scenario. "ricers." LMAO-If just you knew. I in fact simply wished to know if it could be completed, and if so, how.Read more on this topic 1998 Honda Prelude non-SH (5spd) engine replacement... Will the head and block from a 92-96 JDMH22A work?!? I am thinking about getting one of those used JDM engines with 30K or so miles. I do not care about creating it faster or anything like that, I only desire to replace the stock head and block. Which engine would I get? H22A? H22A4? What year? I know mine is OBD2 however all I'm able to locate are 92-96 OBD1 H22's. The guy from Hmotorsonline said that the head and block of a 92-95 JDM H22A is precisely no different as mine. He said provided that I switch over every one of the USDM components (intake and exhaust manifold, ecu, etc.) to the JDM head and block then it is only similar to a factory replacement. And it is certain to also stay OBD2.What do you guys think? Any assist with be greatly appreciated.Read more on this topic Did My Engine ('91 Honda Accord) Lock because of 5w30 oil?
